Almost didn't comment, but I will after all. What my eye catches first, is the TILT! Please, make your pictures straight before posting. Unless it's on purpose, in that case I'll just say that I don't think it looks good. :) The sky is indeed overexposed - ever tried HDR photos? Ok, I just found two things that bother me, everything else I LIKE! :) - The perfect light on the grass (I wonder if it would look better with a flash.. Did you use flash? :D), the dead tree and the water leading the viewer's eye to the center, and to the mountains. Pretty, I like it. It just wasn't a very good day for taking pictures. (i mean the light is kinda hard, still leaving the ground a little dark) But that's not your fault. :) anu.

Hey, Thanks for the very nice critique! Gave me strength to stay here for at least one year more. :) About this picture, well, it's a nice thing to dedicate it to your grandfather, who seems to have been an amazing person. And this picture is the right one for him, for sure, and would look great in a photo album next to your grandfather's picture. But speaking of photography, I am so fed up with pictures taken from the window of the plane, especially above the clouds. The view that you see from a plane is just SOOOO breathtaking and beautiful, that basically everybody takes a picture of that. (I have hundreds) There are so many of them, and all of them are the same. You can't change your point of view at all, can't do any composition, and just can't use your creativity at all. Pictures from the plane are never bad, and they are never good. You'd have to capture something really strange and unique to make this kind of pictures special. At least a UFO or something. It's the same as taking a photo of a sunset just because it's a sunset. Next time, look for UFOs. ;) anu.

Ooooh wow! I never really liked reflection pictures on mirrors, cars, etc. (reflections on water i like, though) But this one ROCKS!!!! And it makes you think also. (A shiny car and a burnt forest...) You did a great job including the bright red color of the car. Damn, why do I even try to say something clever. I know I can't anyway. :D It's beautiful. Thanks. anu. Edit: Oh, and I'm really sorry to hear about what happened in that area. Greece is a beautiful country, shouldn't suffer from things like this. But it sure gave you some good photos. :P

Hi, You definitely captured a beautiful moment! I'm impressed how ALL the colors match. The photo basically doesn't have anything but red, yellow, blue and white. Pretty! But unlike everyone else here, I don't like the motion blur of the motorcycle guy. I'd prefer it the other way around. But we all know that beautiful moments like this pass real fast, and one just can't have everything. :) And I'd also like to see this with a wider angle. anu.

Dammit! This looked really nice in the small image. It's a great idea and would be a very good photo with some corrections. All the other people looking in one direction, dressing in kind of similar colors (pink, white, blue), and then this woman alone with her book, wearing bright orange! Even the mist in the air is kind of purple (or maybe i'm just imagining?) which fits perfectly! I just WISH the image was straight. I WISH the orange lady was on focus, and the rest of the image was sharper. You should have tried again, your camera can do it, YOU can do it! anu.

Hey, I don't know what I should be looking at in this one. Seems that the Autumn colors are at their best, but why don't we see those colors in this picture? The trees are cut in the middle, and the reflection is not that good to have that much space. The water is not calm and it has all kinds of dirt in it. Good to have the bush in the front to create some depth, but to be honest, the bush isn't pretty at all, it's got too much light and nothing in this picture is on focus. Don't take this too personal, I'm just trying to help, and learn at the same time myself. Maybe everything I said ain't true at all, since I'm not such a good photographer either. But this is what MY eyes see. :) anu.

Hiii, I understand that it's an old picture and has been scanned, but this wouldn't be a good picture even with better sharpness, contrast and lighting. The right side is too heavy, leaving the left side way too light and empty. The colors are lame and dry and it doesn't have anything that draws the attention of the viewer. The mountains are beautiful of course, but not because of you. Oh, and the frame is horrible (even though I admit making the same mistake in many of my own photos... well.. we're here to learn, right?) anu.

Hey, Nice sunset indeed, good sharpness and so on. But you need to change the composition, the high building doesn't look that good in the middle. Also the white building in front kind of draws the attention, which it should not do, since it doesn't fit the color scale or anything. Crop the white building, as well as the four bright lights on the right, but leave the road coming from the right corner, just the way it is now. That way it leads the viewer's look into the building and to the sunset. :) anu.

Hey, To be honest, this is quite boring. If you're absolutely sure that this boring shop is worth photographing, you should try to make it interesting in some other ways. A different point of view (for example really close to the ground), an interesting crop (cut away those half-houses on the sides), or include something else in the picture. A person, a cat, a nice car, whatever. anu.
