Good evening Winifred, Both the thrift, (a wonderful reminder of the old threepenny bits), and the bird's foot trefoil set the scene so well for this view. The flowers of the coast make the perfect foreground for this protected little harbour. I hope you are well and have enjoyed the summer. Autumn is upon us now,and the days are so short. Warm greetings from the UK, Amelia

Good evening Bulent, What I really love about this photo is the large and protecting hand - in such contrast that of the child - cradling his grandson. The proud elder has stern look in some ways; and yet there is a loving, almost possessive feel here. A most beautiful portrait. Warm greetings, Amelia

I love the way that the flight of the gannets above the Bass Rock resembles spume, and the guano looks like a sharp frost - but not in July, unless North Berwick is suffering another ice age. The presence of the red sails creates an added interest on the horizon. I remember, as a child, my Dad would often remark on the sounds of the foghorn from the Bass Rock. I'm becoming home-sick Alastair! Here's tae the next 10 years. Warm greetings, Amelia

I love your note here Jonny. Often on my walks along the more remote parts of the Jæren coast, I see nobody at all - it is wonderful! Beautiful lighting. I happen to like the foreground, as I have often seen it looking like this, with the reflections and shadows on the beach and rocks, and the wonderful patterns on the sand. Hilsen, Amelia

The old iron crosses show up so well on this photo of this remote old church at Varhaug. The photo is especially fine, as the sea is lit up so beautifully by the low winter sun shining through the ominous skies over the Jæren coast. I lovely wide angle photo, Jonny. It's so nice to look at places that I have been to on TE. Hilsen, Amelia

Hei Jonny. I have looked for things like this since we came to Norway 2.5 years ago, but as yet I have never found them. So I'm asking you a favour - where are they exactly? It is very exciting to see these Viking ships from 3,000 years ago. It is a real archaeological find! Hilsen, Amelia

Beautifully simple photo, Bev. I love the way the BG is almost white apart from the geometry of the stairs, which show a lovely perspective. Most pleasing to look at, I have to say. You have caught the perfect look! Warm wishes, Amelia
