Hi again! I like the idea, and have used the very same stairs oncelast year during a "micro TE meet" with cbrman and gramma. The exposure is spot on, and I like the vertical format, although some may say you went to an extreme. My only nits are that the blurring of the background may look a bit overdone, and that you haven't waited for the man from the print shop to move his Focus C-Max...

Hello Charles, Etonnante image ! L'effet est sympa mais je ne sais pas si j'apprécie l'effet exagérer de la distortion sur ce pauvre port de Neuchâtel. La version large est un peu plus intéressante car plus détaillée. A+ Dominique

C'est un peu trop bleu à mon gout si je puis dire, mais j'aime beaucoup le cadrage, le ciel nuageux, et la lumière. Une petite correction sous photoshop pour la balance des blancs, et ca sera le top ! A+ Vincent edit : je viens de voir les workshop... je préfère tout de même la version postée...

Charles, First of all, this is a good image with good composition and all the ritht elements for a great photo. However, I agree with Olivier. It's too dark can't see any detail in the shadow, too much blue, and too much saturation. You work a little too hard on it. Tfs. A big smile for the effort. I did workshop to show What I think it should look or at least close to it, but that just my opinion some may not agree. Let me know Way

Wow, beautiful shot! I like the long, horizontal frame that you used for this, which really stretches out the scene and works very well with the landscape. The colour is great too, and the lighting is really interesting, giving an outline of the buildings and the clouds. Outstanding work!
