The colours are amazing and the overall atmosphere therefore very pleasing. I also like your composition with the slight exception of the POV. I would've moved to the right just a bit as to move the pier and the people on it slightly further from the centre of the image.

The detail in this photo and the POV are pretty nice, but you are missing some basics here, the main one being that you should always look out for the old crooked picture. This image is pretty heavily tilting to the left and that ruins the overall experience for most people. Also your sky is a bit grainy - I would recommend using a lower ISO setting or a better post processing tool if that's what caused it. Also if you have the money you can download the Noise Ninja plugin for Photoshop, it rocks at removing grain. Hope this helps you in your future photographic endeavours! All the best, Priit PS. Your alpine images are stunning

You have a completely stunning background, making snowboarders as myself drool for quite a while but there are parts in this picture that are bothersome. Mainly the man in the red jacket. What I'd do is crop off the lower part from the house with the blue roof. That way you can emphasize your background and get rid of that guy in the foreground.

I would actually like this picture more without the jetty or whatever it is in the centre. I think it's a brilliant photo, you've got great afternoon lighting, a beautiful sky, a nice and calm lake and a nice natural frame with the leaves. It's postcardish. I like the frame you made in photoshop, how did you do that?

I've seen this idea put into practice myself too. We had a contest in Estonia for photographers and the topic was, you guessed it, Estonia. One participant entered a photo with a blue sky, black forest and white snow making up the blue black and white, which is the Estonian flag. He got a special prize.
