This shot has a strange character. The colour and shadow on the right is reminisicent of Mexico, but then you have all the indo-pak-bagladeshi hahal food posters, the left side could be from anywhere, new york, cuba... All together somewhat disorienting and dreamilke to me. Did you take more pictures in this neighbourhood? Would like to see them. P

Very nice, Hopperesque. How did you get such effect? Really love it, especially the soft purple, pink, mauve colour cast. A white square frame around it could work. Best P

Can't believe you received only 2 points after 300 views. Graphically magnificent image although the left side is slightly weaker. If that partially visible boat was about an inch to the left (everything else remaining the same which is of course an assumption only physicists make) the picture would have had a more harmonious balance I think. Happy 2008. P PS: Was in Goa in 1988. Must be a different world now.

The large version is quite stunning. The small version doesn't do justice. I can't find proper words to express how I feel. Three consecutive trips to three disparate time zones have taken a toll on my linguistic abilities. I will have to come back later. This is one of the most unique pictures I have seen in a while. Happy 08 P
