Agree with some of the earlier commenters - this looks very much like a 19th century Orientalist painting...testament to India's timelessness, I suppose. A beautiful scene and wonderful capture.

Like the framing and the ambivalent expression of the person in the foreground - not sure if it is hope, sadness, optimisn or simply detachment. I like images like this one, between stories, not the drama but the regular moments, a lot. Thanks for posting.

Hey - I like the blueish-grey tone of the picture and don't think you should change it. It has the most important things: humanity, a clear idea of what you want to shoot and it tells a story. When these things are right you don't have to think too much about technical matters. Great work!
