An imposing look for sure, Laurent - I can't work out whether she is posing for you or whether this is a look of disapproval that you are pointing a camera at her. Nicely composed, excellent sharpness and very natural colours - and I like how the eyes are in shadow but not enough that it obscures them. Cheers . . . David

You certainly were in the right place at the right time, Greg. A great action shot, well framed, and I don't think the lack of a polariser has in any way detracted from the technical quality of your photograph. This is the first time I have seen a surfer in a wet suit. I suppose at 28 degrees F you don't have any alternative. Cheers . . . David

When I saw the title of this shot I thought you meant Lagos in Africa, and was going to comment that it was quite unlike what I expected :) But then I saw it was Portugal LOL . . . So now I know there is a Lagos coast in Portugal! The colours are so beautiful - they really make this nicely saturated and exposed shot. Cheers . . . David

An unusual POV, David, but it works very well. I would have been tempted to clone out that lone sunbather on the sand to enhance the effect of your 'lost' group in the top right :) Cheers . . . David

I like the soft light in this image, Danos, and how you have composed it with the reflection of the boat in the bottom left and the cloudscape in the top right. It feels nicely balanced and all round well executed. Cheers . . . David

Wow, I love the colours and contrast in this, Bertrand, and you can just feel the wind picking up and the rain starting to roll in. The monsoon season is a great time to be the SE Asia for photographers - as long as you can keep your gear dry :) The sharpness of the boat is outstanding. Cheers . . . David

An excellent wildlife shot, Giorgio. Well composed and technically well executed. Interesting workshop post - I am wondering whether they fly away if you approach them too close in the wild? I know they don't in zoos, but there I guess they are used to the presence of human beings. Cheers . . . David

Hi Philip. I like the contrast of these vivid colours against the dull wall. I think this would have had even more impact if you had uploaded this at a larger size. Cheers . . . David

So sad to hear about Marek's passing from you, John. This is a magnificent photograph that you have posted in his memory. Worthy of at least two points, but I haven't rated it per your request. Superb wildlife photography. Cheers . . . David
