Composition difficile avec des hautes et des basses lumières.
Construction géométrique plaisante.
Les deux dames contrastent bien avec ce mur blanc qui donne une diagonale et une horizontale.
Les mouettes se détachent bien sur le fond plus sombre.

Ah, Rene, now you've made me homesick! I miss Table Mountain; here in Melbourne there are no proper mountains! Lovely POV, and the inclusion of the couple really makes a difference. By the way, when the table cloth lies on the mountain, it means that the Southeaster is blowing hard!

Hi Jon! Look I DETEST power pylons! but in your image they are easy to overlook. I love the composition; the gentle S-curve is pleasing to the eye, and then there's the other line of the shore, leading one's eye to the trees. Well done!

Mmm now if we could get them to move those cables underground...!! hehe

Hi Bruno, and welcome to TE!

What a lovely capture of one of my favourite places on my favourite island! This was taken across the Lagoa Verde, not so? This is, next to Lagoa do Fogo, one of the most magical places on Sao Miguel and you captured the serenity and the beauty of the lake so well! That warm light on the soft green always gives me intense saudades.

Hi Wia (or should I say "sawubona"?)! Great study in textures and colours. I like your composition, too. These places can be hard to photograph, as a decent POV is not always possible.

A very atmospheric image, and it captures very well the sense of a town still sleeping. I like the POV and the reflections. Good composition as well. It's a pity the beach is so cluttered, but on the other hand it reinforces the sense of things suspended while all sleeps.

Hi David, Great image, mate! That sky is a photographer's dream, and the colours make this a really strikingly atmospheric image. Did you try a landscape format shot here as well? Just curious to know how that would have worked out.
