Stephen, great shot I can almost feel the anxiousness this guy must of felt when he was about to go over the falls... Your pictures are good PR for Virginia, they show that there is much to do... it's too bad though that you didn't have a zoom... maybe the program genuine fractals would be of some use, i've read some about it but haven't tried it as of yet...

Great shot of an increadible monument... I wonder what effect you might get if you cropped so that only the wall with peoples reflections was in the shot, getting rid of all the people on the walkway... just a thought.. love the clarity and subject...

very nice picture... the composition is great, just enough of the street background for reference but not distracting... your subjects stand out well... i never cease to be brought to reality when i think of how hard some people work for so little... it makes me appreciate and feel greatful for what i have... these workers even look happy and satisfied here... thanks for making me think again.

Very Nice shot. Perhaps a wee bit too much sky at the top for me, as the planes stream is distracting. A boat or somthing on thewater would have finnished it off perfectly.

    Otherwise well composed and exposed.

What were you thinking when you put that frame on? (Tacky postcard normally seen here in the UK) It lets down a really excelent shot as it keeps drawing the eye. I'd have taken a bit off the bottom of the shot also as it doesn't add to the shot I feel.

    Fantasticly composed and well exposed.

Nice shot. This shot has a real sense of power behind it.

Heavily filtered, either in the field or on the pc to nice effect, but burnt out a little in the top right. Would have liked to see a boat or something to hold theeye, but if I were out in that sea I'd be out of there sharpish eith that rain looming!

I have to agree with you. Very fresh and crisp feel to this one. The snow is exposed well and composed reasonably well. For me though the post dominates too much in the foreground, but contrasts well with the clear sky.

Nicely leading the eye in along the wall, but would love to see some more & look forward to it.

Nice capture. Love the contrasting colours between the subject and the background, Real character about this woman, perhapse the lighting does not add to the shot as i think sharp contrasts in her face would reall have given it impact.

Would love to know/see what she was doing.

Really like these reflections, with the splash of red from the sunset. I'd crop a bit tighter on left to get rid of the trees in the background along with the sky in both the reflection and top of the shot, just to bring it all together as an image.

Well composed otherwise and well seen.

    Nice one.

intersting capture. great lead in lines, a figure to draw and hold the eye and tonning to great effect. I'd have taken some off the top though, as it doesn't add to the shot.

    well seen.

Love this shot. Has That jounalistic feel to it, of which I'm a big fan. The B&W effect really ads power to it. My only niggle is the burnt out pot/bowl which dominates. Still, this does not take away from what is a well captured moment. Dito about smiling no matter what situation life has put you.

Stunning Image, and nice strong colours. Shame about the stong haze caused by the low side lighting, but beautifuly composed.
