To hpbaxxter: Giant in rock

Dear Peter,

Thanks for your comment on this picture.
But I have to excuse myself, I tricked this one. The face is in fact not larger than 40-50 cm and was carved in dull grey rock. In Photoshop...

To hrschwartz: The Horse from Hell

Hi Randy,

Thanks for your remarks.
I think you are right about how such a dense mist came into the picture by using the flashlight. It surely wasn't visible with the naked eye. I showed the...

To emjleclercq: Horse from Hell

Hi Emmanuel,

Thanks for your comment.
I must admit that my first idea was also colouring the eyes red with photoshop, but in the end I decided not to do it. I feared to make the photo a bit to...

To cessy: Workshop on "The City wakes up" RP

Hi Cessy,

Thanks for your workshop. It indeed lightens up the photo a bit, but to be honest, I think it leads the eye away from the sky. You now want to look at the small city lights and you lose...

To Philippe: Workshop op Borgerhout RP

Philippe,

Het is inderdaad een grote aanpassing. Terwijl mijn foto eigenlijk meer een warme avondsfeer benadrukt (hoewel hij wel degelijk om 7 uur 's ochtend genomen is), toont je workshop...

To Philippe: Foto Trekearth : Borgerhout

Philippe,

Ik heb je raad ter harte genomen en de schaar in die foto gezet.
De linkerkant, met het flatgebouw is eraf geknipt. Toch blijft er nog een schoon stukje paarse lucht over.
Ik weet nog...

To Philippe: Foto Trekearth : Borgerhout

Phillippe,

Bedankt voor je reactie. Knap dat je de O.L.V-kerk herkend hebt.
Die "muur" die je ziet op de voorgrond is eigenlijk een appartementsblok. Ik had die er ook liever afgeknipt, maar dan...

To haans_gruber: Reflecting opera

Haans,

Thanks for your suggestion. I'll give it a try.
I thought it had to shoot the picture around noon, just to have enough light so that the colours (the yellow and white) of the opera house...

Re: To supereira: Workshop option on

I've admired your work on my picture.
I guessed you would add some orange to it, to soften the picture, but I never thought you'd come up with something like the second example. I do like them both...

To supereira: Workshop option on

Hi,

Thanks for your comments. I put the workshop option on (at least I think I did, the site is not that clear to me yet, but I'm managing).
I didn't touch the picture before I posted it, so it...
