There was a note there that said not to drive on when wet. The liquid salt would ruin the cars electrical system quickly. Glad my rental was on a dry lake bed.

These rocks were last painted in 2010 by a boy scout troop. It took I believe over 400 gallons of paint. Not much maintenance needed in the desert.
