To jadesgran: Stitch

Yes it is. The new automate function works so much better than when I was stitching them by hand a few years ago.

To weetrees: Filters

I only had a thin UV filter on it. I did do some minor vibrancy boosting in post, but this is pretty darn close to how it looked. This was an hour before sunset the day after a snow/ice storm had...

Re: To gravatar: large pano

I usually will reduce the original once to LP scale and then reduce that to 800 wide when reducing images for TE.

Re: To gravatar: moral codes

Well, I thought the Muslim folk frowned on any sex not between a heterosexual married couple. Then again, most of what I know comes through all sorts of western filters. Egypt and Jordan are...

Re: To Lisas_world: Long time no see

It's been a crazy few years. My thesis show will be in the fall though I will be done with classes this semester and maybe moving in a few months. I divorced last summer, so I am on my...

To dragonetti: 5d II

The answer is yes. There is a bit of a learning curve. The ff sensor is more sensitive to vignetting than 35mm film was. You must use extra thin filters with a lot of the wide angle lenses. Even...

To Lisas_world: Long time no see

Haven't seen you post any new stuff for a while. When are you going to post new stuff? Thanks for the title idea. I may need to acquisition that.

To ls7902: Latiff

It's a good combo. If your used to a smaller sensor, the DOF to the relative FOV may surprise you. A bit of advise: get yourself a super thin UV filter and circular polarizer. I had to drop $200...

It rocks. Well worth the money. Still getting used to the controls and accidentally had it set to to jpeg and +2/3 EV. It isn't a true HDR since the the + and - EV were created in photoshop. It...

To jonathan_hart: More experimentation

You may be right, however, I really like more pop and detail than was in my original shot of this composition on the foreground elements. If I ever can get the register on the layers to match, I'll...

To ribeiroantonio: BW vs Color

Ribeiro,
This was actually shot on BW film with a 50 year older Chinese camera. I did take a shot of this with a digital camera which I posted on TE last year or so....

To rjb874: Moscow

The similarities are not entirely coincidental. Stalin was quite fond of the architecture he saw when he visited Chicago and encouraged it's influence in public works.

To Lisas_world: Original

On some levels I agree. The anaglyph is fun gimmick I like to do because I enjoy the old cheesy 3d glasses stuff. I loved them as a kid. The thing is, when I see something that makes a good 3d...
