Just a couple of questions

WHY is there a forum for announcements? And who is it for? It seems like a nice feature if it were ever put to any good use. Strangely enough, there's hardly EVER anything new on it. Just curiosity.

another question...
I uploaded my first photo on the new TE, this is what I saw after uploading : "failed to copy /webapps/te-dev/trekearth/rss/gallery/state/belgium/oost-vlaanderen-pv.xml...
Problem deleting xml file.

??? and yet I got no problem uploading it...
