where to start....
i am not really aware of TE when i shoot because i shoot mostly street photos and i shoot whatever situation i am lucky to bump into, with the composition the natural conditions allow, the light available at the time, etc etc... I feel free and I do what I want... that said, i think my use of light, the patience to wait for the right second, and the way i compose, have improved a lot here, and i am most grateful! what i sometimes DO feel, which is funny! I sometimes feel I should take this or that photo FOR TE, as if i were correspondent of TE in my neighbourhood/city/travels... for example when we had the gay parade last year, 1 million people on the main avenue, i couldn't go and i felt it was a real shame i could not capture a picture of this event "for TE"... I remember we had arranged with isabelle (TE member) we could go together, and we ended up not going... she felt the same way!! the same when we have a scavenger hunt, like last year's hunt for bald heads, or any other hunt for that matter... regarding PP, most of what i know i have learnt it here, and many photos that look good in my LCD, when I open the file i discard because i have become more picky regarding quality... so I am classifying/selecting/deleting my own photos differently... |

Hell yeah! I think of TE a lot when I take a picture. When I see something nice and original I think: "ahh, good for TE" when I see something nice but unoriginal(let's say the Taj Mahal) I think: "Well, not for TE, but i'll take the picture anyway!"
