Great holmertz 2020-02-23 12:07

Hello Kari,
This reminds me of going by boat along a river on Borneo. Tropical jungles everywhere probably look very similar. The boats are nicely lined up, with one being very well placed near the side. I see one in the background almost hidden by leaves. But why convoys? I like the brown river floating among the dense green vegetation under the blue sky.

Default To holmertz: Convoys?

Tack Gert,
I'm not sure if convoy is the right word. Basically it is about hotel logistics. All visitors leave Tortuguero about the same time after check-out time. And incoming tourists also arrive to the roadside boat terminal around noon. And no doubt it is good to move in groups of boats if some boat gets stuck on a sand bank for example.

Thank you Kari,
That makes sense. I thought sightseeing excursions were made in convoys, which seemed to make less sense.
