I, like Rosie, was unpreparred when i had to come up with a username, but the first thing that popped up was the name of a moviehero of mine, Lester Burnham, played by Kevin Spacey in the movie American Beauty, I liked his caracter so much the nmae got stuck in my head...
Only thing is, because of my "intro picture" and my name, many have thought i was a guy, so lets set that straight again, I'm a girl ;o) Fun to read these littel stories, so thanks for sharing them.. :o) |

Xavshot vient juste de Xavier (mon prénom) et de shot (prise de vue, photo). Pas très original mais lorsque je me suis inscrit sur TE, c'est le pseudo qui m'est passé par la tête... alors voilà...

'Dizzy' was my school nickname. I was always a bit dizzy (i.e. scatterbrained) anyway so it wasn't hard for my school chums to think of the name.
I left school in 1959 and didn't hear the name again until 2001 when an old schoolfriend contacted me after 42 years apart. I picked up the phone and the voice at the other end said "Hello Dizzy"! |

Happened in Vietnam, in 1992. This fortune teller lady who could read into people's faces told me I would have to struggle in life to express whatever this is I'd have to express or create. Searching soul, I guess. This was translated to me in french as being un roi en exil. Never forgot, when i set up my very first e-mail account, I thought that would be fine in english, kinginexile. it's one people never forget once they hear it or i think, read it.
She was right, BTW. All in the journey...... |
