Ive never been. But ugly? Im there. Dont you think that the so called "ugly" cities have more personality? I would much rather shoot in an ugly place than a clean, pretty place. I guess I like that urban grit and grime. Great shot on Cairo.

You know, I think maybe I haven’t us the good word to explain me. But in fact, I think that it is not a pretty city, but it doesn’t mean that it is not interesting and that photographing is not a pleasure indeed. For sure, to photograph some place not so pretty is a challenge too for a photograph and I think the satisfaction of a good shot in a ugly place is much more strong than to shot a pretty and clean place as you said.
This doesn’t change that the Cairo is a very interesting city and it used to be the jewel of Africa.
