I'm glad i read your notes because I didn't know that was a truck in the picture. Additionally, I think the picture would be improved if you opened the shadows a bit and leveled the tree line. If you get back to the spot again get much closer to the aspens.

Boonie,

I appreciate your input; sorry it's taken so long to get back. You know, the interesting thing is, I have gone back to review several other photos similar to this and as i recall, the tree line should be leveled. This terrain was so fascinating, complete with undulations that could easily confuse someone in this area. Thankfully, I have descent navagation skills with USGS maps and if need be, could get myself back to safety when necessary.

I agree - the aspens were divine, and probably offered up more opportunity than I could ever imagine. Hopefully I will return back with and SLR and not a point and click digital. Best to you!
