Great hermin 2006-12-27 11:40

I like the skyscape, specially the way the antennas on left moks the crosses on right. Kind of modern G-d symbols. Quite interesting note...To add some data about Warsaw, did you know that before WW2 one third of Warsaw population was Jewish?

Default To hermin: Jewish population in Warsaw

I think most Poles know that ;) At least the educated ones. Those who don't are simply those who do not know a lot about history - period. And did you know that buildings associated with Jewish history are being built in Warsaw now? First of all, there is a big, new museum of Polish Jews that is being constructed in the city center, secondly, Libeskind, a famous architect of Polish-Jewish origins designed a new, very fancy skyscraper for Warsaw, and third, the "Shalom foundation" which promotes Jewish culture will probably build a new scyscraper too.
