To Glint: Colour
It is a scan of a slide and the high contrast made it difficult to get sensible colours in the dark areas.
There is very little colour in this church as this properly lit shot shows. http://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Europe/United_Kingdom/England/Norfolk/photo341398.htm My picture was taken at 7:30 in the morning under cloudy skies. Perhaps it would be better in monochrome.
