Default Re: Waiting for the FUJI excuse.. "BIG excuse from FUJI. "

"""I do not try to dance better than anyone else. I only try to dance better than myself."""

Expecting FUJI, which was wronged as much as anyone in this process to come thru with a follow-up beyond removing the photo, is expecting something which in my view is unrealistic...

First of all, how would they know the coordinates of the real owner of the photo. Secondly, it is not really for them to apologize...

Have we seen any apologies from Adam Silverman when crappy stuff happened at one of the Trek sites? Of course not! Why would Silverman apologize for matters beyond his control?

Let's not build this whole thing up from a molehill into a "berg"...
So unlike another member on this forum,, I will not badmouth Fuji, without actually thinking about the situation, AND getting the facts. [ And yes, I have several Fuji cameras! ;) ]

PS I send my congrats to the young Snowball lady for having a photo that was apparently considered noteworthy by some! That in itself should outweigh all else. And the whole experience should be an eye-opener. Welcome to the real world!

""But of course all of this has nothing to do with the quality of their products! ;o)""

AMEN!

PS Nor should the Snowball owner be given the prize - as was suggested by some members here - as after all the photo was
a) not shot with a Fuji camera,
b) not submitted by her!

"jinju"

Taking something back is easier said than done!!!

a) are you going to write a letter of apology to Fuji for your ill-considered remark?

b) think twice next time before firing a salvo?
