Very nice picture with interesting features. Simple, rustic colour and a cross with a guy drawing (or something?) below. The person makes an interesting add-on to the photo, as it might had looked too plain with the cross and the wall alone but the person is under-exposed. I did a workshop on it.

Default To thrudur84: Thank you Thrudur

Today is July 30th and my first visit back to TrekEearth in at least 30 days. I have so many wonderful photos to upload, but not the time. I appreciate your feedback - yes, it was quite helpful. I noticed a streak through the artisan's face within your photoshop image. Was that purposeful, allowing me to see how/where you lightened the photo?

Where in S.A. is your next trip? I am jealous! :) Antigua was fantastic huh? I love your Lake Atitlan photo; one of my favs! Keep in touch.

I see now that I did an accidental white line above the man's head - hadn't noticed it until I compared the two pictures, but what I mainly did was to, as you said, lighten the man's face because it was near to black, and darken the outlines of the cross to give it more of a three dimentional feel.

In my next trip I'll start in Lima, Peru, traveling to Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia and Cuba. Very much looking forward to it! My English blog will be if you're interested. These days I'm working on writing up the text from my diary from my prior trip this year.
