Default Hua Hin Restaurants

Hi Yitzhak, maybe you can tell me, I'm always worried that the pier restaurants on the sea front just south of the fishing quay will be demolished and replaced with something bland, I hope you can put my mind at rest that we'll be able to enjoy them in August.

Also, did you discover La Mer yet, probably our favourite place to eat of all, on the south end of Hua Hin bay, with great views along the beach.

Dear Richard,
The restaurants are still there, together with thousands of tourists.

The truth is that Hua Hin is quite alive, but I am not sure that it is thr best place for a vacation. I would prefer Ko Samui, for example.

I am not sure that I have the best info. I was there only for two days, mainly spent for business.

Best Regards,

Itzik

Well, I know a lot of people sneer at our fondness for Hua Hin, but there's more to it than meets the eye at first, apart from the food, (did you find La Mer). The beach in front of the Sofitel is never crowded, everyone seems to pack in front of the Hilton, and there's an interesting old part of the town, complete with interesting teak buildings, just north of all the tourist traps. And quite a lot of interesting places to visit around.

Anyway, glad you put my mind at rest.
