Carpets of leaves are always inspiring. I made a similar shot with a POV onto the ground so that the leaves look bigger. Yours is with a higher POV but you left the background blurred which makes the eye focus on the foreground. You left the colurs natural, I exaggerated them.

You should also have a look at First Signs of Spring by kik ko.

that shot taken by kik ko is really good.I specially liked those glimpses of small green grass in between leaves.
