Howdy Russ,
Interesting Waddell scene with the silhouette lonely surfer headed towards the wave action, and the silver lighting radiating the water surface.
I am a big fan of cropping, and would have cropped out more sky. We learned in photography classes that the sky is "over rated" and many people think to show as much as possible. The reality is the sky is boring even with clouds compared to the subjects.
