Hi Russ, Yes, it is fantastic gift from nature. Splendid shot. Marvelous all these tiny worlds.
A lot of physics here surface tension, gravity, friction. I would add also some mathematics, the droplets on a spider's web form multiple elastic catenaries. (In physics and geometry, a catenary is the curve that an idealized hanging chain or cable assumes under its own weight when supported only at its ends).
Beautiful, well observed, nicely describe and captured.
