Beautiful building, beautiful capture. I lie the rather light tone you used here, goes well with the pale sky.
In NYC they have the "waffle building", also representing a new, less square design.

Thank you, Eleu, for the compliment! We are blessed with a wide variety of birds here; I am only beginning to learn the finer distinctions.
I respect your choice to leave the pelican in the misty morning picture, for exactly the reason you say. But if you wanted to take it in a "mystical" (pun intended) direction, removing the living thing would work to support that concept. All my best, Russ Austin, Texas
