Great Ascot 2010-07-15 3:11

Ah, springtime in The Neuk! Beautiful light John, and I suspect the polarising filter helped with the definition of the sky and clouds. I love the diagonal perspective leading my eye all the way to the sea and towards Norway :)

The repetitive theme of the chimneys is a lovely touch, as is the little touch of purple and white crocus.

Did these used to be fishermen's houses do you think?

Cheers, Amelia

Default To bona: Samba in Tokyo's Kyodo district

Bom Dia Andre,
todo bem!

I live in a part of Tokyo called Kyodo (sounds almost like Kyoto but quite different) - the samba has gradually inserted itselof into the traditional dance festival over the last 5 years. This is the first time I've seen a mother all dressed up for the samba holding her baby!
Thank you for dropping by.
Obrigado,
