Default Mulder and Scully crack the “High-Points Case”

FBI Headquarters. In the damp office of the X-files, Mulder and Scully struggle to investigate a new case Fox Mulder has discovered. While they surf the web in their 28kb modem and 14 inch screen monitor, the tension grows up…

Mulder – You see, this is not a regular site... Scully look at the evidences! Why would all those people be gathering photos from all over the world?... Who are they trying to teach through photography? That’s strange to me… My guess is that they are somehow gathering information for someone, to do something…

Scully – But Mulder, this may be just a friendly community where people share photos and their vision of the world! No evidence points to suspicious activity. Yes, they seem very committed in their work and create strong bonds of friendship between them …

Mulder – Again you’re rationalizing! Read between the lines Dana! Look at the name of the webmaster! Adam Silverman! Silverman points clearly to alien activity. Everybody knows that aliens are either green or silver! People usually say that they are grey, but that’s because of the abduction stress and the drugs given to them when they are being impregnated! It affects the glow sensors of the eyes, thus grey.

Scully – Glow sensors?!!! Never mind… Couldn’t be that his parents had that name?...

Mulder – Good point Scully! So you guess there are more aliens connected with this activity? That, he just one of a group?

Scully – That wasn’t what I said, I was…

Mulder – And, Adam is also a strange name! I think he is meant to be the creator of a new species, of a parallel universe or reality! Thus Adam, the name of the first man created. I’ve looked the records of the missing civilization Keoasnaspfubnd Jiknapo, who has lived in Las Vegas before they’ve moved to Roswell due to the casinos noise, and become arrested by US Governement for scientific experiments. They mention the Mopjasfn Pjsuihf, which means “New Bright Minded Man”. You see New Man -> Adam; Bright Minded -> Silverman (shining as silver does, and master of an evil plan).

Scully – Where did you get that info about this… civilization?

Mulder - It was in a pamphlet in my car windshield this morning next to a promotion pamphlet of the Pizza Restaurant. We’ll checkout the restaurant later, after the mass given by the surviving group of the Keoasnaspfubnd Jiknapo.

Scully – But again, I only see a friendly community where friends share their activity!

Mulder – Friendly for the moment... You see how some members monopolize the site and the points? Tell me how can a human being, post hundreds of good photos, with interesting notes and beside still get the time to write thousands of critiques to other members? That’s not humanly possible! What is normal is for someone to post an image, ignore all other members, not critiquing and interacting and get all the points! That’s the way to do it!!!

Scully – I don’t know. I thought that giving attention to others is the best way to receive attention. That, that’s the way to be noticed… Maybe those high point members are addicted to the site and manage to get time…

Mulder – No, ignoring is the best way to get attention. You see how I keep ignoring all FBI rules and get all the attention?! If you ignore traffic signs you also get attention! See? Except for TE! Yes… Maybe Adam Silverman controls them with some addictive drug… That’s why young members don’t get so much attention. As they are still not addicted, they don’t participate in the site, don’t write critiques and don’t get much attention in this parallel universe where things are all inverted… I guess the drug takes some time to have an effect… Scully, we’ve successfully solved another case!

Scully – But this to be solved, needs to have a conclusion, to be brought to court and have a sentence!

Mulder – No, it’s solved in X-Files way. Let’s file the case in the cabinet! I BELIEVE!!!!

Surely the most funny take on an old topic.
I suggest that your note be a mandatory reading to all TE members, old and newcomers.
Nothing works better than humor to get a message across.
Well said.
