Hello Paul,
I would suggest that this is a very unusual colour for a car, which makes it standout for that reason alone; in addition, the details that you reveal show that it is far from road worthy and could present the same sort of dangers as living in the dilapidated house, with a suspect roof, which you share as a w/s.
The second house looks to be in much better repair, safer as a b&b.
How did you book your accommodation?
Did you use a company or search the area for a suitable dwelling?

Thank you Beverley,
I booked my accommodation one day in advance through the most popular booking site (no idea if I can mention the name of the site here, but it is about the largest and most popular). I stayed in a simple guest house or was it a bed and breakfast or a homestay. I don't remember what it was officially called. It turned out that I was the only guest there, although one afternoon a group from the UK came for lunch and then they were gone again. The owner spoke some english. He and his wife also cooked but there were also some restaurants in Kratovo. The guesthouse was a bit difficult to find but the owner also had a shop in the centre and you could meet there.
