Salut Jean

The stripes at first seemed to be sunlight coming from behind the fence, but that is the antelope's natural defense against predators. It confuses them with camouflage especially with trees or tall grass throwing shadows across its back. This is an African Forest Bongo. Largely nocturnal in forests so the moonlight would make it hard to spot for lions, leopards cheetahs, hyenas & jackals etc.

Default To ChrisJ: African Forest Bongo ...

The term antelope lacked a little precision for the presentation, very good to have reported this name for the animal, thank you Chris.
