The hand is the mirror of life, the eyes the window to the soul and her fingernails look like great back scratchers!
A portrait in keeping with the genre and your liking for Martin Parr's work. I saw a Martin Parr exhibition in Barcelona in the next room to the one I refer to in the note about the homeless man picture I took. It was called The Non-Conformists and was about a community around the methodist chapels and towns of Hebden Bridge and Todmorden in Lancashire. It was excellent - old school photography as it should be telling a story about the people in the context of their lives - pretty much as yours does above.
