Great Glint 2013-12-23 8:29

Hello Ann,
I know exactly where this is as we pass it regularly on the way north to visit my son and his family. You have found a great light here and the cottage and it's setting is perfectly exposed. Lovely and sharp. I love the textures and earthy colours of the mountain behind. I once photographed this cottage in the snow and have it framed. Another I took in during a typical Scottish summertime and posted to TE.
I have just noticed the wee bush of gorse? top right -nice highlight.
Bev

Default To Glint: Thanks

Hi Bev,
How lovely that you recognised the cottage, and what a lovely picture you linked me to.
We are receiving a real bashing from the storm in West Sussex and I think it is heading your way - stay safe.
Have a great Christmas,
Ann

Default cottage

Hello again Ann,
I love driving through Glen Shee and only regret that there aren't stopping places at some of my favourite places along the route. It is wild here and wet. No snow here in the SW but it has snowed in Perthshire & Aberdeenshire.
Have a lovely Christmas,
Bev
