Hello Bev,
This is a great photo, very well timed. The odd character is captured against a most beautiful background. The combination of black clothes, white railings and colourful town couldn't be better. Unfortunately I find the picture far too dark, but it may be due to just a difference of monitors. That seems to happen all the time.

To holmertz: Too dark
Thanks Gert. Pity about the pic being too dark for you. I did lower the brightness before converting from RAW format as for me it was too bright. I took a lot of photos in Whitby and many were over exposed due to the bright sunshine despite my lens hood.
