Hello Gert,
Someone I met a long time ago told me with great regret that Baghdad was a modern city. You don't think it's interesting either.
42°C at sunset is quite warm but that was in 1970, a time when the results of global warming were not yet so clearly felt.
It is likely that it has become warmer in July in later years. Temperatures of over 40°C are now experienced during the summer in many southern European countries. I also remember it from Andalusia.
Best regards, Paul

Thank you Paul,
We had about 45 °C at midday, but I think that the last few years it has probably been closer to 50 at that time of the year. Global warming has made a terrible impact. And here I am in northern Europe in January with no snow and temperatures above 0 most of the time. Regards, Gert |
