Great emka 2020-10-29 0:29

Hello Bev,
When I read that you sailed to New York, I was thinking rather about the yacht. But it was Queen Mary 2. As I have found, it is larger and faster than Titanic. Where you not afraid? :).
How long was the cruise? Nice view of these people looking at the ocean.
I went by ferries in the Baltic Sea - to Sweden and also to Helsinki from Tallinn. It was fun but it was just a short trip.

Best regards MAlgo

Thank you for your warm critique, Malgo.

In answer to your question, the journey took 6 days from Southampton to New York but 7 days from New York to Southampton. ( It must have been uphill returning! &#128514 The Cunard ships are amazing, you never feel the turbulence of the sea, like you do on ferry boats!
I would love to do it again, maybe on a different route! I'll start saving now!

My warm regards, Bev
