Hello Beverley,
What a diffference with storm Eunice in Belgium.
It was a mostly sunny day here but with very strong winds. The balance is two dead, some seriously injured and a lot of damage.
I thought it was so unusual and amazing to experience a storm when it was so sunny.
Meanwhile, storm Franklin has started. Less strong wind gusts are expected, but now it is raining a lot. Is that storm not hitting the north of England?
In your photo it strikes me particularly that it snowed heavily at your place.
Beautiful composition with different layers on which we see the fallen snow.
Best regards, Paul

Default To PaulVDV: Storms!

Thank you, Paul.

Storms can be worrying, especially when winds are strong.

Yesterday we had the snow, today we are experiencing the winds, accompanied by continuous, heavy rainfall. There is a small, rapid stream of water rushing past our gate and gushing towards the bridge at the bottom. Everywhere and everything is saturated! 🌧😖

Keep safe, Bev 😊
