Ciao Bev,your two photos today give us an idea of how the building was tall and imposing and the magnificent view that could be enjoyed from the many windows, now everything is in ruins but the atmosphere that these views cause are always special and I like them very, very good high quality photos again and I reciprocate Happy Easter to you and Len. Thank you for your warm critique, Luciano, and your good wishes.
I tried to answer your last query about Wycoller Hall, on my iPad but sadly the site would not allow it! The curved area in the great hall is called the fireplace but, like you, I have always wondered where the fire would be. Maybe it been altered at some time! I will attempt to research it more carefully! Have a lovely Easter w/e, Bev :-) |
