Hi all,

I currently work for the Netherlands Red Cross in Indonesia. Reconstruction after the Tsunami and the subsequent earthquake on Nias. Taking care of logistics towards the project areas of building materials.
Previously I worked in Angola and Sudan for longer missions on logistics and short assessments in Sierra Leone, Uganda and Sudan. Before that I did research on rural electricity use in the Brazilian Amazon.

This line of work gives some good opportunities to get picture moments ;-).

Greetings! Dennis

Let me know if you'd be passing by to Northern Sumatra, Indonesia!
I'm working there at the moment and happy to help you out if needed.

Greetings, Dennis

Commercial insurance Product Manager. I design and build insurance policies for an insurance company in the City of London. I've worked all over UK for past 27+ years (last 8 down here).

Been into photography from the day I first held my own camera (age 13). I had a brief spell in the early - mid 1980's when I did weddings and portraits for friends and family but I didn't have the desire to do that for a living.

I'd love to have been freelance photographer for travel magazines / National Geographic. Who wouldn't??

Default Another Geologist

I'm a structural geologist working as a researcher in the oil industry. It seems to be a quite common job for TE'ers (I've met at least 3 or 4 others on TE webpages). I didn't think we were so numerous!

Hi George!

If it helps, despite working in international development as a logistician, my background is in renewable energy (for developing countries). Does that help??!! ;-)

And I know one member is working in the oil industry, just forgot his name...

Greetz, Dennis
