There seems to be a very small list of affected users -- probably not limited to the above, but definitely a small subset of TE users.

In order to make it worthwhile to troubleshoot this issue further, as it is both small in scope as well as nearly trivial in effect, we need to find commonalities between these users.

If you are one of these users, please list:

browser type
browser version #
any plugins you are using (ad blockers, etc)
time zone
when you normally post/critique
anything else pertinent you can think of

Sorry but I do not understand this discussion, now my account is working properly.
Can you explain what is happening? The link (http://beta.trekearth.com/forums/sho....php?p=1208629 # post1208629) is mixed with very different dates, and so I do not see the follow-up question.
Below follows what you asked me.

My browser is Mozilla Firefox.
Browser version : 11.0
Time zone : Portugal time
I use Beta Trekearth
I may post critiques at any time between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m, but not much in the afternoon.

To clarify:

We have (I believe) narrowed down the issue to some users who, *when they post a critique*, the photo they critique does not have its points add up fully.

If you are the one with photos that are missing points due to the issue, *you are not an affected user*.

You are only an affected user if you have noticed that when you critique a photo, the points associated with that critique do not show up in the photo's total unless someone else critiques it after you.

It's confusing, but very important to get right if we're going to resolve this.

I am one of those "affected users", so here is my info:

I am using Firefox, version 11.0, with no add-ons
time zone = EST, USA
I post critiques anytime between 11:00AM - 8:00PM
I post from the beta version of TE

I have had 2 new critiques on that picture http://beta.trekearth.com/gallery/photo1354201.htm, without any points being added onto it, from mauro61 and silvio1953.
And I have had 1 new critique on that picture http://beta.trekearth.com/gallery/photo1353677.htm, from silvio1953 without any points being added onto it.
It looks as though the list of affected users is lengthening.
Tech team, Are you still looking into it ?

I also have an impression the number of members whose critiques don't generate points is growing. Since I only notice those who are very active, the actual number may be quite high.

I doubt it has anything to do with their computers or browsers or what time of the day they are active. It all started several weeks ago at the same time there were lots of other technical problems. Then the technicians did something on March 16 that temporarily solved the problem, but it immediately returned.

Essentially this list is for the technicians so that they can try to find commonalities as to why some users are accruing points and some are not.

I think it's a mistake putting danos in the list of affected users, as his last two critiques to my pictures had set up the count right.
