Great peter1892 2007-02-27 18:00

Hi Curtis - well you know how much I love this place so there's no need to apologise for another shot of it! The conversion treatment is good, the bridge itself appearing almost in silhouette against the lighter sky. The perspective is good too, leading over to that communications tower (which I always think of as Twin Peaks but that's not it, right?).

Default To jmcl: "Winter view"

Hi John,

LOL!

I confess that I want to be a bit provocative with that. :D
Actually for I also feel it much more as Spring, but if I reflect a bit, we have plenty of "Spring days" like that, at least visually (when it is not raining and/or cloudy or foggy), but interestingly, it's frequent that sunny days in winter are also the coldest ones, but I guess it is very difficult to show cold in landscape views without snow or ice.

In Spring, those fields have a lot more flowers (in fact sometimes the green almost disappears under the mass of flowers) and the foliage of trees and bushes is much more light, because of the new leaves; and, of course, those trees that loose their leaves in Winter also get leaves in Spring. You can see that on my series "Well of the donkeys", "Spring landscape" and "May flowers" that are in this theme of mine.

Regards, José.
