Hello May,
The rugged rocks against the beautiful sea! We seem to visit many of the same places, but months or years apart. Exactly six months before you in March 2016, I was in Menton and also saw the variegated blues and greens of the mighty Mediterranean. One of the most enjoyable experiences there was attending a morning market in the middle of the city.

Hi Bulent,
Thank you for your comments. Yes, we seem to be interested in similar places !  I did not have too much time to visit all the towns along the coast, so I chose Menton as my first choice - and it did not disappoint! The viewpoint from the cemetery at the top of the hill was also very beautiful.Cheers, May
