Great coco 2007-03-09 12:30

Hola Sergio.

Default To branley: shutter speed ...

I agree totally that a faster speed would have been better ... I think I often end up in this default of how slow I can get it and still have an exposure .. instead of contemplating what would serve the water. I am still just a baby with this .. as of late I just fill up my memory card with exposures at different speeds when I try this .. I am still pretty fuzzy on predicting it. ... we are just barely thawing .. the faster & larger rivers are now open but still with low winter water levels . I am chomping at the bit for the spring when the snow melt will create a torrent of swollen rivers

thanks the for the thought.

John

John, you're a man after my own heart. Like you I fill my card with loads of differing exposures but probably, like you, I'm learning a little each time. I'll look forward to your springtime shots, can't come soon enough for me either.

I took 132 shots on Wednesday....all in RAW and now I'm paying the price by having long download and conversion times, If I end up with half a dozen good ones I'll be grateful!

Take care,

Stephen
