It's probably the left shoe of the man, in the shadow...

maybe patch is not the right word. it looks like a small rectangular area that is less saturated or less contrasty than the rest of the picture. this small rectangular area is located in an area that overlaps with the man's left shoe and sock and continues toward the right toward the shadowy area of his bum. it may be viewable only on certain monitors. my graphics monitor is quite sensitive.
