Thank you Bev for your kind comments.
I have certainly not seen all major cities in Germany, but I think Berlin is different from most of them. There is a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere and it's surprisingly free from modern skyscrapers that make so many big cities look so similar to each other. My district in Stockholm is quite similar to the one in these photos. A former working class area which was considered quite poor into the 1960's but is now possibly the most gentrified and trendy district in any of the Nordic countries. Kind regards, Gert
