Hello Paul!
Good minimalist photo. Is an architect, I would say: These are the "building" loss of money, time and trouble to waste. This is not architecture, but also sculpture. And I - and I think you're not - we want to live sculptures. Photo theme is very good, just helpless. I'm sorry I got so far. To live, but livable, habitable buildings may be, the other glaze, and exhibitionism.

Hello Csaba,
I am not an architect and have the utmost respect for your opinion. However, is there not a difference in concept between architecture for habitats and architecture for a modern museum ? Even if the building is spectacular in its minimalism, I found the inner spaces also well adapted and a great scene to exhibit modern art, and for this it was designed ? Regards, Paul

However, I must tell you that the architecture is mainly functional needs must be met, aesthetics, in this case, secondary. Unfortunately, in today's architecture is a part of an end in itself, just the function is lost. And so I do not like. Not because we are building, to admire, but because of space, we want to use. Ugyanakkor azt kell nekem mondanom, hogy az építészet elsősorban funkcionális igényeket kell, hogy kielégítsen, az esztétika, ebben az esetben, másodlagos. Én sok épületet megnéztem, és mindig azok voltak a jók, amelyek, egyben a funkcionális igényeknek is megfeleltek. (Van Gogh múzeum, Amsterdam, Ara Pacis, Róma, Louvre, Paris, Nemzeti Szinház, Magyarország, Művészetek Palotája, Hungary, Pompidou Center, Paris, etc...) Sajnos a mai építészet egy része öncélú, éppen a funkció vész el. És ezt én nem szeretem. Nem azért építünk, hogy csodáljunk, hanem azért, mert a teret, mi használni szeretnénk. Elnézést, ha nem vagyok érthető, de nem tudok igazán angolul, én fordító gépet használok és ez - azt hiszem- nem igazán alkalmas ilyen gondolatok fordítására. Éppen ezért, kicsiny levelem, megküldöm magyarul is, hátha a gépnél okosabb ember, le tudja Önnek értelmesen fordítani. Barátsággal, jó hétvégét kívánva... Csaba PS: ha Ön kívánja, akkor megküldöm az Ara Pacis (Róma), át-alakítás szóló újságcikket, ahol éppen, ezekről a gondolatokról folyik megbeszélés.
