Great tuffellow 2004-03-15 0:05

You think that you need help with a shot like this?! You're WAY too modest. This is beautifully cropped. The man is looking left, so leaving slightly more room on the left side of the photo (as you did) gives good effect. The only thing I could suggest is to watch out for distracting shadows in the background like the one on the left. Remember to have a look at the background before you click. It's hard to do when in a hurry, I know. But don't kid yourself: this is an amazing shot!

Default To tuffellow: Thanks

Thanks for the kind words, Mike, especially coming from you. Just looked at your shots - very impressive. This looks like a fun way to learn!

I'm completely new to this - just stumbled on TrekEarth today. It appears that one can post only one photo/day. Will wait 'til tomorrow to put up another that I like of this same guy (the Afghan)...and after that will go on to posting shots from other countries.

I've only been on this site for about a month, and have already learnt tons about photography. I am as amature as they get.

Thanks for the compliment!
I look forward to seeing more of your photos!
