Great riclopes 2007-01-10 11:54

Olá Sabyasachi, another excellent portrait of yours. You must have interacted with him in order to have such natural pose on his preparation for the festival. For my little experience, most Sadhus don't mind to be photographed in change of some money, but it's a pose portrait. The quality is impressive as usual, although I would like to see the whole hand at the bottom of the image.

Default To riclopes: Thanks

Hi Ricardo,
Thanks for your comments. No I didn't really interact with this sadhu at first, nor did I seek his permission. He was going about his work when I decided to click him from close quarters. Not for once did he glance back at me, he was all concentration. But at the end of it when we were both through with our respective 'job' I showed him the images on the LCD and he smiled back at me truly pleased.
Best Wishes
Sabyasachi

Thanks a lot for the feed-back Sabyasachi. I loved your story. It surprised me that many indian people were pleased in beeing photographed. That, actually resulted in more fun for me ;-)
