To ishai: Soup an Halloween
When a north american sees an orange pumpkin, he thinks right away of Halloween (I think that Halloween is typically north-american. On Oct 31, kids go from house to house asking for candy). And most of us don't even know pumkins are edible! I was the same until I started cooking with them, making soup, cake and, best of all, pies (flavored with cinnamon, I just can't resist an extra slice...). It's too bad, but most of the pumkins you see on this picture will be carved, illuminated with a candle on Halloween's night and sent to the garbage the next day...
