Canon 450D/40D expertise wanted - no Nikon comments :-)

Canon announces just the Canon 450D.

As I'm thinking about a new camera - do anyone know what is are the major difference between Canon 450D and EOS 40D. What are the advantages of the Canon 40D? Thanks

you will get a much bigger camera...
the 450d will be very small..
concering the quality of images, i think they will be close..
